Comment:
I have two Windows XP Pro installed in my computer one in C and one in D. This happened by mistake when I was reinstalling Windows in C when asked opted for fresh installation. I have Win xp setup files in my F drive. Now I WANT TO FORMAT MY C DRIVE and reinstall Windows XP from the installation files in my F drive. If I format C drive will the Windows XP installed in D drive cease to function or will it function and I can directly install windows from F drive to C while running Windows XP on Drive D:
Could any expert kindly give me step by step instructions ( detailed) with DOS commands so that I could Format C and reinstall Windows XP either with a bootable disk or directly from F when booted to Windows on D drive. Any hardware engineer with thorough knowledge of Windows may kindly help me out. Regards/K R Balakrishnan Iyer/Bombay/Maharashtra/I
