Your email is stored here: C:\Documents and Settings\YOU\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{xxxxx-lotsa_numbers-xxx}\Microsoft\Outlook Express (note Local Settings is a hidden folder)
Save the Outlook Express folder. Messages can now be imported via OE (File/Import Messages - browse to ur saved 'store directory').
You most likely didn't 'lose' ur old messages last time - they were still there but in a diff 'lotsa_numbers' folder.
Your Address book is in: C:\Documents and Settings\YOU\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book
Your favorites is here: C:\Documents and Settings\YOU\Favorites
Hope this helps

Hey Open Outlook and then click on file/export. There you chose address book or messages. Save them to disk and then after reinstall, choose import and you have them again.
