I currently am running Windows me on a 100GB hard drive with 3 partitions C is 20gb D is 70gb and E is 10gb E is for my swapfiles and storage i do this to make defraging runfaster. My question is I have Windows XP pro Full retail verson not the upgrade. I wish to do a fresh cleaninstall and reformat my HDD and change the size of my partitions. Can and will I be able to do this all from the XP cd? Once I go into my BIOS and have it boot 1st to the CD will the XP cd let me do all this at this point or will i have to go anther route for format and repartition my HDD I also WIsh to Install XP with NTFS

yes, use the xp cd install disk to do all
you could install xp in the d: partition and have a dual boot system
xp will setup the dual boot during its install

The Xp cd will NOT let you change the size of the partitions without losing data. You would need to use something like Partition Magic from www.powerquest.com to do that.
