To all,
I tried to move my cdrom from the secondary ide port to a slave on the first ide port. Now when i started up Windows XP i got a Blue screen of death. Also had this same experience with installing a new Video Card. Looks to me like Windows XP doesn't automatically detect new or changed hardware. How do i get Windows XP to redetect new or changed hardware when it boots.?

Thanks Michael

You will have to go into BIOS and change the setup there. You can let it automatically detect your drives. Be sure to set the jumpers correct to slave
