Recycle Bin/Copying problem

CPU/Ram: 2.66Ghz/2GB

I can't get the recycle bin to dispose of some apparently empty files. Also, can't copy files between drives on this machine. All are correctly formatted and show up in disc management as healthy. Any ideas? Thanks, jc

run chkdsk /f on the drives
