Just installed xp pro and I can not see the items in the recycling bin. I can not restore the items and I can't see any of the files which I removed.. The "do not move files and remove files" is checked off. When I try to delete I get the prompt " do you realy want to delete these 11 items ?" Its driving me nuts... Thanks for your help

When you say that the "Do not move files into the recycle bin" is "checked off", do you mean that the box IS checked or IS NOT checked? If it is checked, just uncheck it and you are good to go.
