recycle bin problems

When i open my recycle bin it says its empty, but when i right click on it it has the option of emptying it, when clicked it asks if i want to remove these ten items, but no matter how many times i do they dont go away, but they never show up when i open recycle bin, please help me.

not a clue, i have my file viewing settings to show all files, but there isnt anything in the bin. it wont show them but it gives me the option to remove 10 items, but they never really go away, but i guess they arent really there either
