In my old computer I was able to right click on any item in Windows Explorer and would find a line 'Empty Recycle Bin'. This was very useful. I can't remember how I put it there. Someone suggested it and I didn't keep a record of what was probably a registry tweak. Now I have a new machine and would like to install it. Is anyone familiar with this? Thanks.

My apologies. I should have Googled first. Found it right off. Thanks anyway.

salgolf, Go to the link below and scroll down to Line 21 (right column) and download the "Add Empty Recycle Bin to the Right Click" reg file. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.

Im curious why the bother w/ a tweak that messes w/ your reg when you can simply r clk the bin on the desk and empty, i mean if you HAVE to do it NOW just hit your 'show desk' and then r clk - empty :) just thinking of all the customers that said, "i just wanted to..." and "then I..." oh then comes! the 'system restore!' next...

mmmmaybe Im just warding off the newbies from these tweaks :)
