Recurring Blue Screen

For the past few months I have recieved the blue screen of death about every 3 weeks. It says there was a hardware error and gives some error codes. I have to go back and start in safe mode and restore a week or so back. The codes it gives are 0x0000007e and in parentheses 0xc0000005, 0xfc61cbdf, 0xfc90f884, 0xfc90f584 I have gone to Micro$oft's website and they have the error codes associated with a creative labs sound card driver, but I do not have one of those on my computer. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks, Kevin

might be a RAM problem ... try changing RAM and see if the rpoblem disappears

Ive had this problem twice now. Fist time it was bad Ram and second time it cleared up after a format/reinstall.

Download Doc Memory and it will create a boot floppy that checks your RAM. If the issues only occurs after a period of time you can run the tests in a loop until the components warm up.
