Hey guys. WinXP won't boot up. Followed directions in above link. Got to this point:
copy c:\windows\repair\system c:\windows\system32\config\system
When I hit 'enter' it says, "The system cannot find the file specified".
I was able to copy all other files except this one, and now I can't proceed any farther. Any suggestions on getting my computer to actually boot up to Windows? Or have I pretty much lost everything?
I appreciate any help/info you can provide.

YUP. I assume you're at the root prompt in the recovery console. File is called systyem.bak not system.
Type:
copy c:\windows\repair\system.bak c:\windows\system32\config\systemDat she do'er.
Recession means that people's incomes, at the employer level, are going down, basically, relative to costs, people are getting laid off. GWB

Sorry about the typo. That's system.bak not system.
