After doing a system recover on my laptop, All of my previouse administrator profiles are nolonger accessible through the drive:\....documents and settings\ directory. It reads that the folders are empty but I can tell they still data in them cause in the properties menu it displays the amount of information. Is there a way to retrieving information from my previouse admin profiles? Also how can I avoide this from happening, in case I must do another system recover. I cannot revert to a previouse date, all checkpoints have been removed.

thank you

Your post isn't clear. Without knowing your system stats...

After doing a system recover on my laptop,

If you meant laptop System Recovery, the method is destructive meaning it will wipe out everything you have on the laptop including profiles.

I can tell they still data in them cause in the properties menu it displays the amount of information

How? Where?

Also how can I avoide this from happening, in case I must do another system recover

Try this utility. Despite its name it does save profiles to disc.

I cannot revert to a previouse date, all checkpoints have been removed.

Of course it's because you used System Recovery.
