OK i have been trying to find a post to answer this question but haven't not been very successful thus far...
Yesterday i turned on my computer and it didn't boot properly. it will not allow me to boot windows normally or boot from last known good. However, it does let me boot from safe modes. In safe mode i attempted to do a system recovery from an earlier date, but it did not work on any of the given options.
So i obtained the recovery disk and thought it would be easy to just recover the corrupted system files, only to find out it wasn't.What I'm looking to do is to recover my system to when it ran correctly. Can anyone help me by pointing me to a good guide or just walking me through it.
Right now i am just in safe mode with networking so i can still use the internet.
Thanks in advance for any help

go to your event viewer logs and clear them
boot normal and fail
boot in safe mode and tell us what the errors are in event viewer.Odds are since it works in safe mode you added hardware drivers/software that is incompatable. If we can figure out which and what you should be able to uninstall it in safe mode and then boot normally.

steal from the rich and give to the poor/middle class. Go Obama!

ok but i am not sure how to check my event boot loggers
And what if it is a virus, will this way still work?
