Dear Group:

Ref: 93517, 93010, and 92414.

I am not sure why this worked but here is what happened.

I followed suggestion by the kind and knowlegable folks in this forum. And I was a least able to get my drive to boot into the Administrator account. In January I thought all my personal account data was gone. (i.e. e-mail, downloaded programs, etc)

But today I noticed that the custom icon for my personal account was still there.

So I used the Admin account to change my personal account password.

I restarted the computer and logged on as Default (f.k.a. personal account) and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw my personal account desktop with everything still there. I opened Outhouse Express and all my e-mails are still there too.

I have no idea why this worked.

Could someone please explain?

TIA!

wayne

Dear nulladd:

Please don't be rude.

It was not obvious to me. That is why I had to ask.

Thanks.
