uhm... theres a reason they make passwords. And part of that reason is so that if you dont know the password you cant get into the files. You now fall into the catagory of not knowing the password. Seems like your gonna lose those files that you rared :(

Hello Bitboy,
I don't think there is any easy way. From memory these have to be "cracked" by brute force meaning a another program will keep making passwords and trying them against the target file rather than actually taking the file apart and examining it in a debugger, for instance. So you have to try and remember whether your password was comprised of numbers, letters, capitals, symbols and what length. The time to crack it will depend on the length and combination of these things.

nooooooooo. so sounds like i will never get it back, i store lots of important stuffs there. its has 450mb stuffs inside the rar file. looks like i have to go to 3rd party website and search for winrar password cracker. i have no choice.

Bitboy,
Don't give up. Find one of the many password cracking programs. They are legitimate programs for people like yourself. Be wary of free trials because they are often limited to small sized passwords. The programs are very fast and I have found the forgotten passwords to several word documents overnight. There are also websites that will do this for you but they cost dollars. You'll find them with google.
