hi there. I recently reinstalled windows xp, without deleting everythign. However, the users were all erased. I would like to recover my old my documents folder from the documents and settings folder, but when i click on my old username, access is denied. I think this is because my documents were private. I can acess all the other users' folders. Is there anyway i can access mine? Thank you

you're getting access denied because you're logging on with an account that doesn't have full admin. privileges. Log on as the local administrator and add your user account to the administrator's group.
