Recover Data after Formatting HD...

Greetings, I was interested in advice on Recovery Software.I recently Formatted this HD,installed win98, then XP Home. Then I remembered several EXE Files that I had forgotten to Save. Do any of the Recovery Software(s) really work? Thanks -ez

Yes, they do. I have afriend that was able to recover much of his data after a format. But, the fact that you have installed both those operating systems makes the prospect of recovering your files moch more unlikely. You *could* get lucky if those installations and any usage since then has not overwritten the areas of the hard disk where those files were saved.
