Recommend CD/DVD Programs

Could anyone recommend a free CD/DVD burning/ripping program? I'm sort of new to the concept, but would like something more than the simple program that came with my computer. --I've been looking at Deep Burner and CDBurnerXP Pro. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Infra Recorder would be my favorite freebie (DeepBurner is good too, but the free version doesn't support direct disk copy) http://infrarecorder.sourceforge.net/
