recieve Red X no pictures

I have a friend who emails pics (opened, not as attachments) that mostly arrive as an empty box with the red X. They are stuff that he is forwarding. He has winxp and seems he is the only guy I have this problem with. Any ideas what is wrong here would be appreciated Thanks Vicp

check to see if his e-mail is set to receive text only, if he is using yahoo change it to rich text

Thanks for the reply. He does not use Yahoo. He recieves the pics but when forwarding just the red X and text.

Can you explain further about his settings ??

He probably has checked a box to send as text only, he needs to allow HTML content.

Thanks Im a novice here. Can you give me the route in Outlook Express to get to and uncheck "text only" Thanks

Open outlook Express, click on Tools/options/click on send and thne alter Mail sending Format to HMTL.
