I have this strange issue that disappears after a reboot.. I usually always hibernate the laptop at night. It seems arter a few night of hibernation internet pages start loading slow or not at all or if I go to say you tube for a video it will load and not run but as soon as i reboot it works for a while then the problem after a night or two... One thing that does work if the page doesn't have to load alot of information it will go right there. I use win xp with a dell 1.6 Latitude and 768 mg ram..Is there something I need to change or unload..Thanks.God Bless...KMay God Bless You

It's generally not a good idea to use hibernation or standby mode. Many problems can occur when using either of these modes. I usually shut down completely or just leave it on and set the LCD to go off. Hibernation and standby problems are usually hard to pinpoint.
BTW I like your name and signature. May God bless you as well!

My generic desktop PC with XP home sp2 does the same thing after re-emerging from standby yet my wifes Sony Vaio laptop w/sp2 never fails after reviving after standby and I finally gave up trying to solve it and just turn off my desktop. Different brand wireless cards are the only difference.

Computer Speed and Performance May DecreaseWhen you open, then close programs, programs may not free up
RAM memory. That is called "Memory Leak".
Restarting computer will clear out its RAM memory.Hibernation will not free up the RAM.
---------------------
To have more RAM available at startup,
You can do Start, then RUN, then type
msconfig
Then uncheck items in the Startup tab.To find out what each Startup(or Process) item
does or means, and any recommendation as to if you should close the process:
