I've tried no less than 30 combinations of words to find the solution in Google and I'm just done trying to figure out the magic words. Could someone please point me to the reg hack to make my DVD drive recognise the current disc without having to reboot? While I can read whatever information's on the disc, it's a bit of a pain when I go to burn an audio disc in Roxio and it won't read track info. Thanks in advance
Gotta love it. I still recall when I was in school (too many years ago) we were all told how computers were going to make life so much easier. When even the simplest task requires this much zigging and zagging, I wonder when that day will come. (sick laugh)
And on it goes - disabled the IMAPI service, unchecked the box to allow recording from Windoze and the drive still won't change the disc name until I reboot
