Hi eskiled, whats RealVNC? Ive been trying to use windows remote assistance to try to help a friend with some computer problems he has been having but i cant get it to work it always takes ages or tells me its not possible.

eskiled/fallenint - I don't know RealVNC, but I found the best product is 'Radmin' (do a google search) - tis easy to use and works brilliantly.

right click on the CDROM in my computer
go to sharing and security
tick all boxes and create a name for it
make sure you and you friend do not have any firewalls on
on your friends computer type this in dos prompt
net use X: //yourIP/ShareName
then go in his my computer and it shud be their ready for browsin
if you dont have a fast connection be prepared for lag
