The new RealOne can be difficult to install. I had the same problems. The only way I could find around it was to uninstall and reinstall. In my case this took three attempts.

Hi there, why don't you just stray away from RealPlayer alltogether and download this program http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/finalbuilds.htm
This is called RealAlternative, it will play all .rm files, even if it specifically wants RealOne. It has no extra baggage with it and can be uninstalled and installed with ease. Give it a shot, the regular RealPlayer just isn't worth the trouble.
