Real player downloading problem

June 13, 2013 at 11:38:50
Specs: Windows 7
I can only convert older youtube uploads with real player. Suddenly it won't convert more recent uploads from the last few weeks to an mp3. Is there a way round this? Thanks.

You're converting some files to mp3's. What is the original format (the file extension) of those files?

I think youtube videos are usually mp4's. I have converted some to mp3's so I can listen to them in 'my music' on my pc. I can still do this with older videos, but more recent ones from the last few weeks will not convert to an mp3 for some reason.

Youtube are always changing things - probably a matter of waiting for (or getting) a newer RealPlayer version or update.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

If they're mp4's I use something called 'free mp4 to mp3 converter' from :

http://www.maniactools.com/soft/dow...

I'm using version 7.1. Their current version is 8.0.

You can also do a google search for mp42mp3 (as in 'mp4 to mp3)' for other downloads.

Many thanks for the tips. I'll try that when I get the chance and I'll let you know how I get on. Rich.
