I am unable to activate Real Player 6.0.0.0 under a regular user profile. As soon as it launches I get the message "Real Player has encountered a problem and must shut down". When I log in as local administrator, however, I have no problem. In the event log I show a 'faulty module' error module:'pncrt.dll' I removed and reinstalled several times but to no avail. Please help me out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Johnt

I think you have to use a newer version for it to work on XP. Or you could try Real Alternative, which installs the real player codecs, so you can use real media files with the media player of your choice.

Real Alternative can be found here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm
