If you are running IE5, IE6, IE7 or IE8 Beta 2, be aware that M$ is planning to release an emergency patch to close another vulnerability that could allow remote code execution. The patch will be made available this afternoon at about 1 PM EST via Windows Update site. For more details regarding this patch, look HERE.

FYI

this vulnerability can also affect FF if you use the IE plug-in on IE browser sites that are infected. There is no patch for the plu-in as of yet.

Are Windows 9x & ME not affected? Or MS hasnt bothered because there's no more support for those os's?
