I have tried to get rid of the Hotbar in my webb-browser by going into MSCONFIG and unmark HbInst in Autostart. But no success. It still pops up.
I need help, please!

Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and Remove Hotbar. Also download AdAware and run it.

Good luck. I still haven't gotten rid of it completely.

You will find it everywhere. Do all these things, and see if it ultimately disappears. I don't have it displaying anywhere so that's progress, and it no longer seems to affect anything.

-Run a virus scan to see if anything shows up.
-Run AdAware and Spybot.
-Do a search in Windows Explorer of your C:\ drive. There will be a lot of entries. Search not only for hotbar but for hb.
-Search the registry. Lots of entries. Be careful if you don't know what you're doing in the registry. Back it up first (export).
-After you run spybot and adaware, check their backups, and delete references to hotbar.
-Check your MRUs.

No matter what you do, it seems, there will be remnants somewhere. There are references in the registry to hbtoolbar which I haven't deleted yet, but will.

The only thing that tells me there is still something there is that Bazooka, a malware finder, says I still have it.

Hope there are other answers with more suggestions. What I recommend above does a pretty complete uninstall (I never saw it in Add/Remove programs), and should remove any obvious evidence.

Spybot

AdAware

Yeah. Lotsa luck. Doesn't do it, especially when it's not even in Add/Remove in the first place. But thanks. :)

Tufenuf - Thanks, but that does not remove it completely. From my own experience, I know it leaves several other references in the registry. It's more than tough enough to get rid of every vestige. :}
