I am interested to know what the forum thinks of upgrading my ram. Should I go with 4 128Mb sticks or 2 256MB sticks? Are there any advantages either way? I have a P4 with 4 slots and a max. ram of 512.

Since you can only use a maxiumum of 512MB I would go ahead and get four 128MB sticks. That way if one goes bad you only lose 128M instead of 256, so it will be cheaper to replace.

rd ram is the most expencive of all memory. Its 2 times the price of sd ram so i would go with the 4 128mb sticks option also....

agreed, since you can only do 512MB, i would fill up each slot in each bank with 128MB. Two 128 is cheaper than a 512MB i believe
