RDP...How to??

ive been looking into remote desktop protocol, and i just can seem to figure out what i have to do. i have three windows xp pro sp2 PCs. two are on a local network and the other is over the net. can anyone give me some pointers on how to go about preforming a RDP on both PCs.

on the computer to which you want to connect remotely
click start>my computers>properties>remote>enable " allow users to connect remotely " then ok.

you ought to know the IP address or the computer name to which you intend to connect.

now in the other computer
click>start>all programs>accessories>communications>remote desktop

type the computer name ot IP address.
select the type of connection you are associated with
click connect

you have to type in user name along with password to see the desktop of other computer.

Geek.com's article that provides several scenarios for setting up Remote Desktop. It is the best article I have seen on the subject and it got me connected.
