I have a laptop (specs shown above) that is dreadfully slow. Instead I use the built-in remote desktop connection software on my laptop to use my fast computer in the other room while I lay on my bed. For some reason, I cannot seem to access any computer in my house with RDC. I click connect on the window and it acts like it is connecting for literally a half second then it goes back to window the same as when I left it except without the password I typed in. Basically the screen is just like after you get an error message about it not being able to connect, just with no error. Any help? Will

Check three things: 1. That Remote Desktop is enabled on the destination computer; 2. That The Terminal Services Service is set to Automatic and started; and 3. That the user account you're logging in as is added to the Remote Users group on the destination computer. I haven't done anything major to any of my computers. I have tried a system restore on one computer but not the other. I'll try that now. Will

For some reason it works now. I left for two days and when I got back I could get on. Who knows... Will
