RAW File Syatem /4GB USB Mem Stick

Specs: WinXP Home, 2GHz/1GB

I am having a problem with a 4GB USB SanDisk. I just got this disk and the first time I used it I transfered from WinXP Home to the disk a HURD Live CD ISO and a Zeta Live CD ISO. The next time I tried to use the disk, it didn't work. The properties showed a RAW file system. Tried to format with gui, It showed me that I have 1TB and showed no other options for formatting the disk.

What is a RAW FS?

I tried to format it in cmd ln. It failed as well...............

C:\>chkdsk e:
The type of the file system is RAW.
CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives.

C:\>format E:/FS:FAT32
Insert new disk for drive E:
and press ENTER when ready...
The type of the file system is RAW.
The new file system is FAT32.
Verifying 1048576M
The volume is too big for FAT32.

C:\>format E:/FS:FAT
Insert new disk for drive E:
and press ENTER when ready...
The type of the file system is RAW.
The new file system is FAT.
Verifying 1048576M
The volume is too big for FAT16/12.

You probably need to use admin tools>disk management and remove the existing partition and recreate and format.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.
