Hi,

I'm having a little problem with Win Xp. My computer seems to randomly reboot whenever I run a graphics intensive application. I have a Radeon 9700 Pro and I've heard this is not uncommon. Any suggestions on that would be gratefully received, however my main question is this; I've disabled Automatic reboots on failure (found in the advanced tab after RC on My Computer) and it seems to have solved the problem mentioned above. What I want to know is am I damaging my computer by doing this? Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Matt

Reboot on Failure was not the cause of your problem. The only thing disabling this does is so you can see system error messages that auto-post so you can troubleshoot the problem. If your system still crashes, note down any error messagegs you get and post back.

Thanks for the reply. I've just started getting BSOD Stop Errors. Always has the code 0x0000008E but the file mentioned changes and is not always present. Any help much appreciated.
