I have a problem with random exe files on one of my hard drives. Some of them lose their icon and won't run. When I try to run one, a command prompt flashes up and then disappears, but that's it. The files have no alteration in their size and I've run several different virus scans and nothing has come up. I'm not sure what's wrong really and only exe files are affected. Please help!
