I have a laptop that was running very slow, so i rebooted in safe mode and ran malware-bytes. The scan found 100 or so objects and I removed them all and rebooted. Now every time I try to boot up windows in normal mode I get the BSOD. Safe mode still works fine.
The BSOD error message code is:
STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xEBF978D3, 0xF7943968, 0x000000000)
00001425 - Address EBF978D3 base at EBF97000, DateStamp 49c97a84
Any ideas where I might start to resolve this?
Thanks

Jam,
Are you looking for the verbiage of the error message?
I believe its the standard BSOD error message that starts with "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to precent damage....."

"Are you looking for the verbiage of the error message?"
Not exactly. I mean the error. Such as: "KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"

Find a list of STOP MESSAGES(BSOD) here:

Click 8E at the left side of that page.
