When ever I go to facebook and play a game, I see my RAM being dropped from 2047 downwards I have FreeRam xp pro and the only place this happens is on facebook I also play one of the same games on Tagged and this does not happen any Ideas on why this is happening?

I have a total of 4gigs of DDR2 RAM installed

Thank You
Chris C

more to display will result in more memory load.

Not sure why you are concerned or why you even bother monitoring "ram usage" since with 4gig you will never "run out".

Dos and windows 9x days are long gone.

I'm more concerned as to why it only happens while playing the games on facebook and NO WHERE ELSE

simple: the game is taking memory. This is quite normal and expected.

you can use task manager to identify the process the game is using and how much memory it is consuming.

Thank you for the response any idea why I play the same game on tagged and there is no RAM drain?

perhaps on one site they are doing some extra security which adds to the overhead of the game play whereas the other site doesn't.

I would use task manager to determine if the same game on both is using the same amount of ram for the executable.
