No you do not need to uninstall, but you will need to upload the drivers as Win XP loads. As Win XP is loading, it will prompt you to hit F6 to upload the driver. Just follow the instructions when you get the prompt. Two items of note. The time to key F6 is only about five seconds. You will see it on the bottom of your screen. Also "before" you do it, go to Promise site to get the their XP drivers. I used my Win200 driver as I had the disk and figured I could update later. No such luck and I talked to Promise and they are still working on this one...
