Radio Station not Working

July 14, 2009 at 15:39:22
Specs: Windows XP, 633 / 512mb
Have a laptop that when out of the country had a radio connection that worked with adsl ...now that I'm back in America I'm using broadband through Road Runner...have been trying to listen to this radio station but it's not been working (have tried Windows Media, Itunes, etc) and it hasn't been working with anything. I called Road Runner and they ran some tests on it and they said it was Zone Alarm blocking the connection. When I disabled Zone Alarm the radio still wasn't working. However, wondering if it could be my other anti-virus program NOD.

Does anybody have any ideas on what could be the problem?...or at least how to diagnose it.

Not sure if it helps but the radio station I'm trying to listen to is here: http://www.npr.org/templates/rundow... and then choose 24-hour stream.

Thanks in advanced for any response.

I listen to radio stations all the time. Yours played without a problem. It opened in NPR player on destination port 1935. I use winamp. I never heard of NPR player but it worked.
