I cannot open my iTunes in XP with the electronic response that I don't have quicktime. When I try to uninstall/repair/install quicktime, I get an error message coded 2356. I have attempted several registry deletions of quicktime entries without success. Any ideas? Is there perhaps a registry cleaning tool (have already tried crap cleaner without success)

precambrian, SWAG, some software has an uninstaller which must be used as there're some files (don't necessarily have the software title in their name) that have to be deleted and may be well hidden. Look in the folder and see if it has such a critter. If so, it knows where the bodies are buried. HTH. Ed in Texas.
