I did read a thread regarding quicker Adobe which I can't find anymore in here and did use the search too .
I did download Adobe 6.0 and did what the thread said and it worked wonderful .
I cope and paste ......
Speed up Acrobat 6
The reason why this bloated software takes so long to load, is because it has a bunch of plugins! I found this nice tip on speeding it up, and it appears to work great! I'm not sure what features are disabled, but if you use it as often as I do, this might be something you want to try too.

Open "X:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader" folder. Or if you have Pro, it's probably in the "X:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Acrobat" folder.

Find the "plug_ins" folder and rename it "plug_ins_disabled".
Create a new folder named "plug_ins".
Copy the following files from "plug_ins_disabled" to "plug_ins":

EWH32.api, printme.api, and search.ap
............................
I did a update on Adobe by accident and was back to square 1 ,taken so much time again , so I unstalled Adobe and re_installed again , ..and did the above again , but its still sooooo slow .
I noticed it downloaded Photo adobe same time and wonder if that would be the culbrit ....
I do miss that quick Adobe ..
Many thanks for your help , whoever it was that posted the thread .
