Having a problem with a brand new laptop.HP XP home edition version 2002 service pk 2 40g hd
I installed frontpage 2000. Everything was working fine. Didnt know if they were compatible but didn't have a problem. But now whenever I shut down the computer, it restarts itself then when I click on log in about 10 sec. later the help/support screen or the quick lock box pops up starts to flash then goes back to the log in screen. Sigh. I uninstalled frontpage thinking maybe that is the problem but its still not working right. Any suggestions? Is there a way to go back to previous settings? Like in windows 98 I can put in my system disk and select a previous saved settings. Thank you for your time.

in Help & Support .. select System Restore .. Restore to an earlier time .. select the day BEFORE you installed frontpage .. should be a "System CheckPoint" there
