would anything bad happen if i installed xp on a separate partition then copied the system32 folder for the drivers in it and replaced the default xp partition system32 folder?? Some of my drivers are messed up and i dont feel like reformating.....

no its called I have a ton of software to reinstall if i format and it would literally take 8 hrs or more to reinstall it
