Question about user switching
Name: firedragom Date: January 18, 2008 at 14:00:25 Pacific OS: Windows XP sp2 CPU/Ram: Pentium 4
Comment:
Sometimes when I switch from one user to another, I get the error message
Windows cannot switch accounts. Please try switching again. If this message continues to appear, you will need to restart your computer.
It is just annoying sometimes when I have something on the other user and I can't get to it. Is there any way of preventing this error?

As the following article would show, the problem could be either part of the winlogon system or corrupt user account profile. Both entails performing XP repair.
Post back if you are sure without doubts that neither of the two causes cited is the case.

Might be some programs (not fully xp compliant) or drivers that can cause that. See event viewer after that happens for clues before you attempt the repair maybe.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.
