Question can a virus and or spyware add links to your favs. in internet explorer link adult links? and if so how do you stop it from happening does anyone know of a program that will stop this?

I once did a test with this exact problem. I hooked up a computer with no antivirus or firewall and went to all these adult related links and by the end of my session i wasnt even able to log off. It installed all adult links on the desktop and favorites menu. My suggestion is setting up a firewall and antivirus, keeping them constantly updated and runnning Ad-Aware SE about once a week.

you can try either microsoft's antispyware beta (free) or sunbelt software's counterspy (low cost) which are in place to try and stop spyware from installing onto your system.
