Greetings everyone, Recently, I have been receiving the error message: Query Dos Device Failed. It usually starts after I insert any media in to my DVD drives. Afterwards, no programs will start, including taskmanager. I subsquently receive other error messages if I attempt to run programs, including: "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service", and
"Not enough Quota is available to process this command". I have no idea how or why this problem started! Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all input!!!

Using RAID, by any chamce?

The message appears to be a SMART-type monitor and may be enable/disable selectable.

"It **usually** starts after I insert any media in to my DVD drives."
• What other activities have produced that same message?
• What happens when you remove the media?
• What happens if you re-insert the media?
• Is there an OK button in that error-message box?

Need more info.

Hi Again, and thanks everyone for your help. Yes, justcuz, I am using RAID, but I'm not exactly sure what all that entails. I did do a GOOGLE on the subject, and thought I might have found the problem (not SURE just yet). Two days ago I installed an external USB 2 video capture device (from ADS TECHNOLOGY). It worked perfectly, but I think I disconnected it incorrectly. I plugged it in again, but wasn't intending on utilizing it, and went about doing other jobs on my computer...no error messages!!! Hopefully, this has solved the problem. If not, you'll all probably be hearing from me soon :) Again, thanks!
