Quattro Pro problem after XP load

Hello,
I had Windows 98 on my Compaq Presario 7940, purchased in early 2000. Yesterday, I bought the Windows XP upgrade package and installed it. After a few gliches here and there, I thought I had everything working fine. However, I discovered this morning that Quattro Pro is not working. It's part of the Corel 7 package that came with the PC when I bought it. QP boots up and shows only 27 rows, and it cannot bring up any of my QP files (all of which are very small). No error messages are shown, and QP simply freezes.
Does anyone know if there's a compatibility issue with QP and Windows XP? I should have plenty of memory left on my PC.

I think you will need to upgrade your Corel suite; I had Corel 8 and some minor problems with XP, which disappeared when I installed Corel 9. Some have reported success with Corel 8 and XP, but not all. But Corel 7 seems like it's stretching things a bit and I think you should upgrade, probably to the current (I think) Corel 11.
