Hi. I had a similar problem to this before, but this time I'm on a different computer and I'm facing a different set of problems.
I bought a QTronix Japanese 106-key keyboard and am trying to hook it up. It worked on my last compaq laptop, so i figured it should work on this one, too. Here are the specs on my system.
QTronix PS/2 keyboard connected with a PS/2 -> USB adapter from Radio Shack. The drivers installed once connected are as follows, as shown in my hardware profiles:
+Human Interface Devices
HID-Compliant consumer control device
HID-Compliant device
USB Human Interface Device
USB Human INterface Device
+Keyboards
HID Keyboard DeviceNow I've switched that Keyboard device to the QTronix USB Keyboard, which seemed to do the trick the last time. However, my last computer never installed that many new devices under Human Interface Devices, so I'm at a loss with that. Does anyone have any advice on how to get this keyboard working with all keys, as a Japanese keyboard and not just a 102-key keyboard?

and that's no mistake, there are in fact 2 USB Human Interface devices installed. As redundant and useless as it seems...
