Hi everyone:
Please forgive me if I posted in the wrong area but this problem dosn't seem to fit in any real category. I've been trying to learn to use a CPU Emulator. I first tried Bochs. Bochs was very slow, so I tried QEMU which they said was supposed to be faster. When I load QEMU, the window where the emulated OS is supposed to appear appears, then disappears VERY quick. I have installed Qemu on 2 machines, one XP and the other 2000, and the problems occur on both machines. I have made sure my syntax is correct in the console.
Here's what I've entered:
cd C:\PROGRA~1\QEMU
QEMU harddrive.imgI have also tried:
cd C:\PROGRA~1\QEMU
qemu -boot a -m 128 -fda C:\MSDOS71b.img -cdrom C:\xp.iso -full-screen -hdc harddrive.img harddrive.imgand I've tried:
cd C:\PROGRA~1\QEMU
QEMU -L harddrive.imgI previously made an image before entering the above. I would appreciate any help on getting this window to stop disappearing.
If God has to teach someone a lesson more than once to get them to learn it, it just goes to show how stubborn they are.

Well Not sure if it'll help your problem or not ,,,
found this after a quick search,,, Probably get more help for this item in the linux forum ,,, If someone knows more about it from there

Thanks, quacked. Got it fixed by putting the hard drive image in the same folder Qemu was installed in (C:\Program Files\Qemu).
