PW-problem with ie and outlook express

with ie and outlook express and with the "save password"-box checked, my password seems to appear in double length in the box, so i can't sign in, if i don't enter it manually. i've already tried to delete the hole connection, but after reinstalling it, the same thing happened. it does not happen when the connection is established directly under windows (not under ie or outlook express).

in ie go to tools/internet tools/content/ autocomplete/ & remove passwords you will lose all passwords but at least you will be able to re-enter the correct 1

Doesn't anybody look at Microsoft's knowledge base sometimes?
I had the same problems with Outlook 2000. Go to the Microsoft knowledge base and read article Q259416. Read it carefully and do exactly what they say unless you want to mess up your user rights structure.
