Putting yahoo mail on my laptop...

I have Yahoo mail on my desk top. Cannot figure how to get the same on my lap top. When I click the mail icon in my tool bar, I get a drop down that says read news. The icon in my task bar is the ie icon which will open at the yahoo mail page simply because I have it (yahoo mail) set as my home page. Any help would be appreciated Thanks all....I posted this question on CV, but no takers.
