The best thing to do is ask the question.

It's possible that someone who is not familiar with it might be able to help.

Ok well here goes, these tools have an option where you can remotly run things as a certain user on the users computer so. Well first off we are the desktop support and we have the ocal adamin username and password but for some reason people were telling me that they were not able to run a command as local administrator or something to that nature. I have not tried whatever they are trying to do and did not get full details. First off the computers are on a domain but there was some scenario where someone said that trying to run a local administrator command with these tools was not working so i wanted to see if anyone has an idea of the basic concept of what we are trying to do is feasible.

Second there is another thing for this application to install correctly we have to give the user temp admin rights and have them run a registry edit. Now is there another way? Cause we grant them the rights then have them log off and log in for temp rights to apply then same thing when they are finished. It would be kinda cool if system adminstrator's could run little things like this as the username? i mean this sounds like a big security no no but somehow we could run a command as that username to get changes to apply to the users profile without granting them temp admin rights. Then like there can be a system that montiors and informs all parties that something was ran as the username or something to that nature. Lol i went from a question to an idea but first off any way to apply those changes to the users register based off thier profile? I mean can we connect remotely to thier registry and apply changes with us obviously having the admin rights to do so or is the user profile based aspect of the register locked out from us performing these types of things. Just sometimes it is tedius and takes couple hours sometimes to schedule with customer just to grant them rights log off log on apply registry fix take rights away then have them log off log on and E.T.C.
