For a couple months now i have experienced problems with some software and internet connectivity except now i have to make it work for my distance ed course which require online conferencing.

the quote i got while trying to download java is

"The installer cannot proceed with the current Internet Connection proxy settings. Please check the installation notes for more information."

While trying to access Poker Stars I would receive the message "Internet Connectivity Problems" a similar message will appear when trying google earth.

My internet connection is otherwise working fine ad am able to connect with my Paradise Poker software which i find quite puzzling.
